AUCTION ITEMS

01

THE PRESS CLUB

DINNER FOR TWO WITH MATCHED WINES

VALUE: $500+

The Press Club was the first of many special occasions spent together. Jeremie loved spoiling the people he loved and this surprise location was where he and his wife Sarah spent their first New Years Eve together. Young and only newly in love it was obvious from the beginning that these two would share a very special life together. Later in their story, the then newly renovated Press Club would also be where the two celebrated 6 months of marriage in a year that saw Jeremie undergo two major operations and radiation treatment. What most wouldn’t realise was this was again a surprise (something which Jeremie loved to do). Despite what most would call setbacks, Jeremie only had a view for the future, and celebrating 6 months with the women he loved was, dare we say it, a no brainer.

A night to dress up in your best attire and perhaps even surprising someone you love awaits…..

02

MONTALTO RESTAURANT

3 COURSE TASTING WITH MATCHED WINES FOR TWO

VALUE: $200+

Montalto was the backdrop to the day that Jeremie describes as the happiest moment in his life. It is here that he married his best friend. When the two visited Montalto they instantly knew that this was where they wanted to get married. Having spent many summers on the Mornington Peninsula, sharing a long lunch with friends or visiting the cellar door, the two were captivated by this beautiful location, the lush green lawn, vineyard, the unique sculptures scattered throughout the property and of course it’s amazing food. It was the most perfect day, sharing all the things they loved with all the people that they loved and most of all with each other.

A long lunch, or sunset dinner in one of the most picturesque locations in the Mornington Peninsula awaits…

03

THE SMITH

GOSPEL BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH FOR SIX

VALUE: $350+

The Smith was one of Jeremie’s favourite locations for dinner and drinks with friends and provided the perfect location for a somewhat unconventional event organised by Sarah for Jeremie. Why? Jeremie was a hopeless romantic and loved the idea that the day after he and Sarah were married that they would travel straight to the airport for their honeymoon. Due to Jeremie’s diagnosis this was not possible and their honeymoon was put on hold. Knowing how important this had been to Jeremie, Sarah organised a night to celebrate the couples 1 year wedding anniversary where friends and family came together and shared again incredible food and plenty of champagne. It was here that saying “Bon Voyage” to the happy couple before they headed to the airport the very next day on their honeymoon became a reality.

A morning of fun and festivities shared with friends awaits…

04

DINNER BY HESTON

3 COURSE MENU FOR TWO

VALUE: $280+

Dinner By Heston in London was one of the most memorable evenings the two shared together. Having postponed their honeymoon directly after their wedding for Jeremie to undergo surgery, the two were determined to recreate their dream a year later… and they did. Dressed in their best, the two were so excited about the opportunity to dine at one of the world’s best restaurants. Jeremie loved and believed in the wonder and magic of life and so it wasn’t surprising that this was a restaurant he had always dreamed of going to. “Meat Fruit” and liquid nitrogen desserts made in front of his eyes were all on the menu that night and the two spent the night in simple wonder together.

An evening to escape and an opportunity to let yourself get caught up in something magical awaits…

05

IKI JIME

DINNER AT SHANNON BENNETT'S SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

VALUE: $350+

Iki Jime is a restaurant that Jeremie didn’t have the chance to visit, however, it is representative of his love of Chef Shannon Bennett and the many restaurants of his that Jeremie adored. It was at Shannon’s restaurants that Jeremie celebrated special anniversaries, valentines days and even the simple excuse to share a relaxed wine and delicious food after a lap around the botanical gardens when the weather was warm. Jeremie had a rich and diverse childhood. Born in Noumea he had many influences. The fusion style and French influence of Shannon’s food is something that Jeremie loved, it felt a little bit like him, like home whenever he was there.

A Unique intimate dining experience awaits…

06

MAEVE FOX

COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS FOR TEN

VALUE: $500+

Maeve Fox can only be described as an extension of home. A seemingly simple cocktail bar in the heart of Richmond has been the venue of countless nights of delicious cocktails, dancing and loads of laughter. This venue also hosted the first “Run for Jeremie” post-race event. There were close to 20 of us that ran in the Melbourne Marathon that day and even more that cheered the team on. Maeve was, of course, the only place we wanted to be to celebrate such an incredible achievement.

A Cocktail Masterclass for 10 people at Maeve Fox awaits…
